This Tahoe Hotel Is Offering Unlimited Stays During Ski Season for Just $5K
It’s the best ski pass California has to offer.
Anyone who’s ever dabbled in snow sports knows the lowdown on the popular multi-resort, multi-day passes on the market, the most notable ones being the Ikon Pass and the Epic Pass. But in South Lake Tahoe, a new kind of ski pass is emerging: a one-of-a-kind season pass that includes lodging.
The unique offer allows travelers to pay upfront for an entire season of skiing or snowboarding that includes onsite stays at The Station House Inn. Starting October 31, the recently revamped, 96-room boutique hotel will relaunch the "Ski Season Pass," which gives frequent mountain gliders the chance to pick between three tiered packages which each includes a number of prepaid hotel room nights from November 1, 2024, through April 20, 2025.

Travelers can choose between the Green Pass, $1500 for ten nights ($150 per night), The Blue Pass, $2,000 for 20 nights ($100 per night), or The Black Bundle, $5000 for unlimited nights (which, depending on how much you’re in town, can cost as little as $20 per night).
Merely a two-minute drive from the Heavenly Mountain Ski Resort, the Station House Inn is the perfect basecamp for avid skiers and snowboarders. The retro-feeling lodge, which is outfitted with wood-paneled ceilings, vintage fixtures, and firepits, is also within walking distance of the scenic Heavenly Gondola, a private beach, and downtown South Lake Tahoe.

There are a few moguls on the run (or, bumps in the road) that travelers should know upfront—this price does not include taxes, and only king rooms are available as part of the deal (but travelers can pay a fee to upgrade to a double queen room).
Blackout dates do apply, and travelers must book their nights ahead of time by calling or emailing the hotel directly. Since rooms are always offered based on availability, snow sports fans are encouraged to reach out as far in advance as possible.
