JetBlue Customers Will Finally Get a Taste of Lounge Life

After 25 years, JetBlue flyers will have a reason to get to the airport early.

The luxury of an airport lounge is sometimes the exact thing that separates a haggard stumble through a crowded airport from a calm and quiet wait time for your flight. JetBlue has long given travelers one of the most comfortable in-air experiences around, but their loyal frequent flyers have missed out on the joys of airport lounge life.

All of that is changing now that JetBlue has announced that they will be opening their own airport lounges in New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport and Boston Logan International Airport.

Beginning in late 2025, passengers at JFK’s Terminal 5 and soon after that in Boston Logan’s Terminal C will be able to enjoy these lounges, according to the airline’s statement. The JFK lounge will sit at around 8,000 total square feet while the Boston Logan iteration will have about 11,000 square feet of space. These lounges will be divided into three areas focusing on playing (with a complimentary full bar), working (with outlets, wifi, and coffee), and lounging (featuring complimentary food and drink). The play area also offers mocktails.

Wondering who will be able to access these areas? A JetBlue credit card that has yet to be released to the public will get you in for free. Current members of JetBlue’s various programs, including at the Mosaic 4 tier of JetBlue’s TrueBlue and Transatlantic Mint customers, will also be able to gain access without charge.

If you know a guy who knows a guy who happens to be a TrueBlue Mosaic 4 member or will one day hold that JetBlue credit card, you’ll also be able to get in for free as customers of these two programs get a complimentary guest.

For all other JetBlue customers, day passes and guest passes will be available for purchase. Annual passes for the airport lounges specifically will also be available for purchase.
